1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia SS

Scott Leibow contacted us recently regarding his Giulia SS. He said that this is the first of 25 right-hand drive cars manufactured to the Ruddspeed Performance Package specification, it has the lowest serial number of the group. Originally registered BYY 6B, this car was the first to be presented by Alfa Romeo at the Earl’s Court Motor Show 1964 and was tested by MOTOR magazine (issue of March 13, 1965). World Champion race car driver and writer Nick Brittan was the owner of the car until he moved away from the UK. He raced the car in rally races in England, Scotland and Ireland. Scott still has the FIVA card issued to Nick and the old UK number plates.

This Alfa Romeo made the cover of the Classic & Sports Car magazine in August 2004. The car is Bluette color and is relatively unrestored. It currently resides in Hollywood, California, USA.

Ruddspeed Serial Number: N/A

We would love to hear from anyone has more information on the car or would like to add to the history please feel free to contact us here at Ruddspeed.
