We spotted this for sale Facebook Marketplace recently, it is a 1967 Volvo Amazon Estate which the owner has spent four years restoring.

The seller says he bought the car in 2022. All metalwork restoration has been completed by a classic car body shop with parts from Brookhouse Volvo and includes partial chassis rail replacement, full floor pan replacement, both front outriggers replaced, firewall replaced and both front inner wings replaced. Full suspension refresh. Lowering kit from Classic Swede so -60mm front and -40mm rear. All new springs and Gaz Gold shocks. All suspension parts have been removed, blasted and repainted. All bushes and joints have been replaced with new. Front brake calipers have been refreshed with the seals and pistons and repainted. Brake pipes have been replaced with new. It has new 17 x 7 US mags Rambler wheels and new tyres.

The engine that came with the car smoked so he sourced a period and vehicle correct Ruddspeed B18 to replace it. This came from a 1964 saloon whose owner was replacing it with a V8. He refreshed this Ruddspeed engine so it has new timing gears and cover and every seal and gasket replaced. New fuel and water pumps. It's fitted with a 123 ignition electronic distributor and coil as well. It has had the old dynamo replaced with a bosch distributor. The twin SU HS6 carbs have been refreshed and have K&N air filters. Great intake noise. She's also got a new manifold back Simons exhaust as well. Bit of a lumpy idle due to the Ruddspeed camshaft.

The interior up front has had a full refresh with front seats being stripped down, frames repainted and new webbing fitted. Then new seat covers and door cards fitted by a car upholstery company. Rear seat is original cover but is in good condition.
