Marc Mander Evangeli reached out to us back in May 2014 with a 1970 Volvo 145 Estate that he had just bought. He said the car was sold new out of the Rudds showroom in Hove. It has the dealer plate Rudds of Worthing on the sill, and also still has its Brighton number plate. He also had all the hand books with K. N. Rudds stamp. It then went to Tymans tuning in Potter Bar London.
When he bought the wagon he was told that as Rudds had shut down the garage around 1970, this wagon could have been one of the last cars sold. Three months later he had the car up for sale. We did a quick check on the DVLA website and it shows the car is still on the road.
